Post your topics and information in the appropriate forum ('General broadband discussion' does not go in 'FreeCall Dialup ISPs' etc.).
Do NOT post abuse or offensive material of any kind; especially avoid directing such attacks against other forum members. We have a wide spectrum of young, old, male and female readers who do not appreciate such posts - privately ask an admin or moderator to help if such a situation arises.
Avoid making sarcastic postings that could be seen as abusive or inflammatory.
Respect the moderators and admins, if you feel any of them are acting out of tone then contact the Editor-In-Chief (Mark Jackson).
Try to post constructive comments and topics.
Representatives for any kind of ISP must identify themselves to a website admin or Editor-in-Chief (see 'Contact' page) before being allowed to post.
Avoid making a username (login) that contains spaces or special characters.
Issues with problematic logins or static forum activity tend to be related to your ISPs caching system or your web browsers cookies and or cache. Try checking again later to see if it resolves itself or clear your cache and cookies. Not all ISPs have dynamic cache, some will update just once a day and ISP Review's content will thus appear the same. Ask for help if needed.
We do not tolerate advertising, our forums are NOT newsgroups, you may NOT SPAM. Note that signature links to private (personal) or not-for-profit (uncompetitive with ISPreview) websites may be tolerated. ISP Rep's are also allowed links to their own services, albeit not excessively.
DO NOT post large images as part of your signature or on the forum in general, they slow loading for other (modem) users.
Obey the rules and remember that we try to keep these forums as free as possible by avoiding censorship and moderation where we can. However we're still governed by UK law and thus so are you; do not make any slander or libellous remarks - please be careful.
Do not post 'new' topics asking why another thread has been erased, you may only do so under the 'Website Discussion' area, doing so in any other forum will be considered abuse against the staff of the site - we find such posts can inflame a situation.
ISP Reps (representatives) may speak as they please in their associated forum(s), however we will NOT TOLERATE reps posting in the forums of other 'specific' ISPs unless it's of a courteous nature. These forums are not a commercial battle ground.
Members are only allowed to register one unique account per person; multiple identities will be erased, including the original account.
Signature images should be small and no bigger than 20K in filesize (less is better for dialup readers).
