Mobile and Internet provider EE will today expand the half price promotion on their unlimited superfast “Fibre Broadband” (FTTC) packages to cover the first 6 months of service. In addition, the one-off connection fee has also been reduced from £50 to just £25.
As usual customers will also need to pay Line Rental from the equivalent of £11 per month when pre-paid 12 months in advance or £15.40 monthly. However the prices below are only applicable to existing EE, Orange UK or T-Mobile customers and everybody else will need to pay an extra £10 per month (possibly more if you live in a rural area).
The packages tend to come alongside an 18 month contract term, a free BrightBox wireless router, 12 months of McAfee internet security, access to the online EE Film streaming service and 2 for 1 cinema tickets every Wednesday.

Admittedly EE have been playing musical chairs with their promotions of late and indeed we recall the connection fee for their “Fibre Broadband” packages being FREE until only very recently. Take note that their standard unlimited broadband packages are currently also still running alongside a 12 months half-price promotion from £2 per month.
