Manchester-based ISP Vaioni has signed a new partnership deal that will allow them to wholesale out access to the ITS Technology Group’s pure Fibre Optic network to businesses in key parts of Hammersmith and Fulham (London).
Management of the 15km long network of underground ducts, which until recently was only being used to maintain the local council’s CCTV network, was taken over by ITS in February 2014 and new fibre optic infrastructure was then promptly installed.
Sachin Vaish, Managing Director of Vaioni, said:
“We are delighted to introduce ITS’ network into our Ethernet Exchange. The Ethernet Exchange continues to grow from strength to strength offering our customers a comprehensive Ethernet Procurement Platform giving access to over 12 operators, delivering unparalleled choice, whilst delivering a single order, provisioning, support and reporting process.”
The network will plug directly into the Vaioni Core and should deliver Ethernet Services ranging from 10Mbps and all the way up to 1Gbps+ at “extremely competitive pricing“. Rival ISP Fluidata also gained access to the same infrastructure in June 2014 (here).
