TalkTalk Offer Half Price TV, Broadband and Calls Bundles for 12 Months

Tuesday, Nov 4th, 2014 (10:36 am) - Score 749

Budget ISP TalkTalk is understandably keen to move away from last month’s price hike news (here) and have today announced a new offer that cuts the price of their triple-play broadband, phone and TV (YouView) bundles in half for the first 12 months of service (note: 18 month contract applies). Subscribers will also get a £75 Love2shop Voucher.

In short, TalkTalk’s entry-level Essentials TV package will now be £4.25 per month (normally £8.50), while their premium Plus TV service will be £9.25 per month (normally £18.50). Customers will also need to add TalkTalk’s Phone Line Rental service on top from the equivalent of £14.35 a month when pre-paid for a year in advance or £16.70 if paid monthly.

On top of that customers can also benefit from the similarly half-price Superpowered Fibre (FTTC) upgrade option, which gives you broadband download speeds of up to 38Mbps (Megabits per second) for an extra £5 per month (first 12 months of service and £10 thereafter).

Essentials TV Package Summary
* Download speeds of up to 17Mbps
* Totally Unlimited Usage
* Evening & Weekend Calls to UK Landlines
* Included Calls Between TalkTalk Customers
* Included Wireless Router with 802.11ac WiFi
* Included HomeSafe Security and Parental Controls
* Included YouView box (usually £149)

Plus TV Package Summary
As above, except..
* FREE YouView+ box (usually £299)
* FROM December 2014 – Free Mobile SIM (100 minutes, 250 texts and 200MB of data)
* Anytime calls to UK landlines
* Includes 7 Sky Entertainment Channels

TalkTalk are also giving new subscribers one month’s free access to the Sky Movies channels for a month, although this offer will only be available until 10th November 2014. Otherwise customers can also benefit from a half-price Sky Sports & Sky Movies boost for just £20 extra a month.

The new offers complement TalkTalk’s other promotion, which is offering free unlimited broadband for the first 12 months of service (here).
