Internet provider PlusNet Business has today reduced the cost of their top ‘up to’ 76Mbps capable (19.5Mbps upload) ‘Unlimited Business Fibre Broadband and Phone’ package from £33 +vat per month to just £12.99 per month for the first 12 months of service.
New customers who join the package should note that they also need to take Phone Line Rental on top at £10.50 +vat per month (standard call charges apply) and there’s a 24 month contract term to consider, with the final 12 months obviously returning to the full price.
The ISP claims that this allows them to promote the package as the “UK’s lowest priced business fibre“, although a true business package ideally needs to be accompanied by a strong Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Internet traffic prioritisation. Some aspects of this may exist on PlusNet’s package, but if so then they don’t state it clearly enough.
Never the less it’s a good price and subscribers will also get a free wireless router, unlimited email, UK based 24/7 customer support, one free website domain, 500MB of website space and a Static IP address can also be requested. As usual it’s also possible to add Anytime calls to UK landlines for +£4 per month.
Alternatively Anytime UK calls can be bundled with +500 minutes to UK mobiles, US mobiles and landlines in the ISPs top 20 international locations for +£12 and paying +£19 will get you 1000 minutes.
