The UK Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) has today announced the official shortlist of finalists for their forthcoming 17th annual 2015 Internet industry awards, which sees Exa Networks, Hyperoptic and Keycom leading the way with 5 or more nominations each across various different categories.
As usual this year has seen the addition of several new categories, such as the self-explanatory Best SME Broadband and Best Enterprise Broadband. On top of that there’s a new Safety Award for those who have made an impact on Internet safety, and a Security Award for the best security product or initiative.
Nicholas Lansman, ISPAs Secretary General, said:
“Congratulations to all those shortlisted for the 2015 ISPAs. With ISPA celebrating its twentieth anniversary, the long running ISPA Awards continues to reward those who help connect consumers and businesses and underpin our economy and society. These awards are the most rigorous and independent in the sector, with millions of tests carried out and direct input from customers. I look forward to the unveiling of the winners in July.”
The shortlist for the Internet Hero and Internet Villain gongs tend to follow later, in a separate update, and won’t be announced today. Otherwise the winners will all be unveiled during an event held at the prestigious Brewery in the City of London on Thursday 2nd July 2015.

UPDATE:
The ISPA put MacAce for the Customer Choice shortlist, when it should have been Hyperoptic. Corrected above.
