Mobile operator Giffgaff has been named as the best UK mobile network operator for customer service, with only 5% of respondents to a new survey rating them as “poor”. Unfortunately the bottom spots were occupied by Vodafone and EE.
The results are based off responses from 10,620 MSE readers who were given the chance to rate their mobile provider’s customer service as either “Great“, “OK” or “Poor“. Mobile networks with fewer than 100 responses were not included and those with a higher rating of “Great” are often given more priority in the list.
The most interesting outcome here is that pretty much all of the top four providers, except Three UK, are Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) that piggyback off the big boys. Meanwhile Vodafone said they were “disappointed” with the result and pointed to their often touted £2bn network investment as proof that things would get better.
