Little known ISP CloudScape Connect has reached a new “Gold Partnership” agreement with computer hardware and electronics company Asus, which should enable them to provide related communications equipment (e.g. routers) to their new broadband subscribers.
The ISP reports that it has already started to supply customers with pre-configured Asus DSL-N17U Wireless (N spec) Modem Routers, which tend to cost around £70 in the shops and provide compatibility with ADSL, ADSL2+ and VDSL (FTTC) “fibre broadband” services.
Robert Harrison, Managing Director of Cloudscape, said:
“We are delighted to have secured this partnership with ASUS and we look forward to enhancing our customer experience through the provision of these leading communication technologies.”
We couldn’t find much information on CloudScape Connect’s website, although they do offer an optional router to new customers for £45 a pop.
