New customers of Sky Broadband can now take the ISPs superfast (up to 38Mbps) Sky Fibre Unlimited FTTC service for £10 a month for the first 6 months (£20 thereafter) and they’ve also added in a £100 M&S shopping e-Voucher. As usual line rental is also still payable on top at £17.40 per month.
It’s worth pointing out that new Sky Broadband customers will also need to pay a £35 “fibre activation” fee, which is less than the normal £50 charge. Otherwise the package attracts a 12 month contract term, an included Sky Wireless Router (£6.95 delivery charge), unlimited access to UK WiFi Hotspots from The Cloud, Sky Shield (Parental Controls and Anti-Malware) and Sky Yahoo! Email.
Elsewhere the standard up to 17Mbps Sky Broadband Unlimited service, which has similar features to the Fibre package but slower speeds, also includes a £100 M&S shopping e-Voucher and is currently priced at £5 per month for the first 12 months of service (£10 thereafter). Line rental must be paid on top for that one too.
