Sky Broadband has added a £100 M&S e-Voucher to their Sky Fibre Unlimited (up to 38Mbps) service (currently £10 a month instead of the usual £20), while Plusnet has added a £50 Cashback voucher to their 12 months free (normally £9.99) ‘up to’ 17Mbps unlimited broadband deal and BT have introduced £75 to £125 Reward Cards across all broadband and phone bundles.
As usual all three ISPs still require you to pay for line rental on top, which costs from £16.99 per month on Plusnet (or the monthly equivalent of £15.49 when pre-paid for a year in advance) or £17.40 per month via Sky, which sadly doesn’t offer a pre-paid discount. Both of the deals look set to remain until around the end of this month and are only available to new subscribers.
Meanwhile BT subscribers have to pay £17.99 per month for line rental (£18.99 from 3rd July 2016), although this falls to the equivalent of £16.19 a month for their annual pre-paid discount (rising to £17.09 from 3rd July 2016). Thankfully the new advertising rules mean that in the very near future ISPs will need to include the often confusing line rental cost into their broadband price.
