Sky Broadband has moved to increase the one-off activation fee of its superfast capable Sky Fibre (FTTC) packages from £35 to £39, which will be introduced from 10th June 2016.
We should point out that this fee usually only applies to new subscribers, while strangely Sky Broadband still charge a Sky Fibre activation fee of £50 to their existing / upgrading customers. The charges apply to all three of their Sky Fibre packages.
It’s worth pointing out that the charge is less than the £49 fee that BT levy and the £50 attached by TalkTalk to their comparable service.
