Anybody interested in Andrews and Arnold’s (AAISP) Home::1 TeraByte broadband package, which combines either an ADSL2+ or ‘up to’ 80Mbps FTTC (VDSL) service with a 1 TeraByte (1000 GigaBytes) usage allowance, may like to know that it can now be taken without bundled line rental from the same ISP.
Initially a technical limitation of the service was that AAISP could only offer the product as a bundle of broadband and line rental, but some improvements mean that the ISP can finally remove this hindrance. On top of that the product now comes alongside a free setup or migration (router not included, but one can be added for £25 if needed).
The end result is that those with a copper pair (line rental) from another provider can now order the service without having to move the line, although these days most consumers are already on bundles anyway (add +£10 per month to the cost for line rental if required).
Home::1T Package Details

PRICE VDSL: £50 inc. VAT per month
However AAISP’s website does still state that “the VDSL installation will replace any existing broadband, and so cease charges and early termination charges may apply even if this was VDSL with us using BT back-haul,” so it’s probably worth testing via their order system first to see what the final price will be.
