Coventry-based ISP WarwickNet, which builds its own alternative fibre optic broadband networks to connect disadvantaged businesses, has appointed John Bezzant to be its new Chief Financial Officer.
Apparently John has previously spent 9 years working with SMEs across the Midlands for Barclays Corporate Bank and prior to that he spent 5 years as finance director of two SMEs, which followed a 10-year career with PwC. John said he was “excited” by his new role and noted that the ISP has “ambitious plans” for the future.
Meanwhile WarwickNet’s CEO, Ben King, said: “I’m extremely pleased John is joining WarwickNet’s Board. John takes up a key position within the business and his broad experience will be a huge asset to WarwickNet as the business transitions from a large regional player to connecting more customers via our ever-growing infrastructure network on a national basis.”
