Have you ever wondered which UK Mobile Network Operator (MNO) delivers the fastest Mobile Broadband (3G and 4G) data speeds at the O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium and Chelsea FC’s home of Stamford Bridge? Probably not, but RootMetric’s has the answer for you and it’s a fight between EE and Vodafone.
It’s perhaps wise to take the following results with a pinch of salt because certain mobile operators tend to have agreements with specific venues (e.g. EE’s 400Mbps capable 4G LTE-Advanced test at Wembley Stadium – here), which means that the performance at such venues often won’t represent general network quality elsewhere in the country.
On the other hand there is perhaps a certain sense of comical irony to be extracted from the fact that Vodafone came out top at the O2 Arena 🙂 .
