The ITS Technology Group, which earlier this year made their growing collection of UK “ultrafast fibre networks” available via wholesale, has now signed up 21 partners (15 in the last six months alone) and they expect to reach a total of 25 by the end of 2016.
ITS operates a number of primarily business and or public sector focused fibre optic networks around United Kingdom, such as in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and in Bristol (the latter is a joint venture with NetSupport UK Ltd.). Sadly this doesn’t currently include their fixed wireless broadband networks in Wales (formerly xwavia) and East Manchester etc. (formerly CityServe).
The operator’s national strategy will see the amalgamation of disparate networks into one single wholesale network offering tier 2 and tier 3 products and services, which ITS says can provide “complete resilience, diversity, scalability and availability at very attractive price points and lead-times“.
Lisa Harding, ITS’s Head of Strategic Partnerships, said:
“We have been very careful to select partners that have specific industry sector experience such as in education, residential buildings and business parks. This considered approach benefits both partners and end-users, it avoids conflict in the channel and provides end-users with a partner that really understands their unique requirements. We will continue to work strategically with a chosen number of key partners to drive increased adoption of services throughout the UK.”
Apparently some of the approved partners include Novus Group, Vapour Media, Efuse Telecom and Oryx Align.
