Friday is traditionally the day when people, usually those who don’t have kids (lucky bu…), go out to get smashed off their faces enjoy a leisurely tipple. Perfect timing then because Virgin Media has decided to booze up their cable broadband bundles by throwing in a few bottles of bubbly.
Now as we all know, Internet access and alcohol make for perfect bed follows, thus from today until 27th September you too can get a brimming 6 bottle full case of Virgin Wines incl. Prosecco (RRP £86.93) when taking out one of Virgin Media’s many broadband and phone bundles. Alternatively you could have a Pure Jongo T2 wireless speaker, although both options will probably leave you with a headache.
Meanwhile those who prefer to opt for one of Virgin Media’s triple-play (broadband, phone and TV) bundles can either take a Pure Jongo S3 wireless speaker or.. du duu duuu.. a 12 bottle case of Virgin Wines incl. Champagne (RRP £186.87). Just remember, Wine is one of those commodities that often has a big RRP attached and yet it rarely sells for anything like that much in the shops. Sadly wine connoisseurs will be disappointed because Virgin doesn’t say which bottles they include.
We can’t recall any of the big ISPs bundling a case of wine with broadband before and it’s a bit of an odd combination. Never the less there are bound to be takers, even if you might well end up like this..
