Comparison site Cable.co.uk has revealed the winners of their annual Broadband Awards 2016, which saw Plusnet scoop more wins across different consumer voted categories than any other ISP. But there were also some wins in different areas for Virgin Media, Sky Broadband, BT and other ISPs.
Several of the awards were chosen via a survey of 6,000 broadband consumers in the United Kingdom, which is where Plusnet picked up most of their wins (we note that they won all of the same awards at last year’s event). Sadly there’s no full statistical breakdown of the results on their website.
A number of other awards were chosen by Cable.co.uk‘s own “panel of broadband experts“, although their website doesn’t mention who was judging on the panel (not that we could find). Never the less it’s good to see that several smaller providers have been given recognition and what follows is a brief summary of the primary results.
