Cityfibre’s 120km long and 1Gbps capable fibre optic (FTTP) network in the city of Peterborough (East England) has been given a boost today after GreenCity Solutions invested £1.5m to help connect “hundreds more” local businesses to the network.
Rob Baldacci, Owner of GreenCity Solutions, said, “Since the launch of CityFibre’s network in Peterborough, we have connected more than 200 businesses, enabling them to communicate faster with their customers, improve productivity and reduce costs. This investment provides us with the opportunity to open CityFibre’s infrastructure up to more local resellers giving them an alternative to leased lines and FTTC, we are delighted to be in a position now to engage with other IT and Telecoms resellers to help them position this new product in their armory.”
