Broadband ISP Andrews & Arnold (AAISP) has today announced that they’ve started a trial of both DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT) services, which encrypts Domain Name System requests (i.e. turning IP addresses into human readable domains like ISPreview.co.uk and back again) in order to make them secure.

UK ISP Andrews & Arnold (AAISP) has today announced that customers of their Home::1 2TB broadband package, which includes 2000GB (GigaBytes) of monthly usage, will see their monthly prices cut by £5 per month. Meanwhile those with a 300GB allowance on Home::1 300GB will be upgraded to 2000GB for the same price.

Internet provider Andrews & Arnold (AAISP) have complemented their recent trial of a G.fast based ultrafast broadband product today by launching a new 160Mbps (30Mbps upload) capable tier for Openreach (BT) based Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) technology, which was previously only available at speeds of up to 80Mbps.

The first six months of 2018 recorded another rise in average fixed home broadband download speeds to 33.29Mbps (7.82Mbps upload) among the top 10 ISPs, which continues to be fuelled by the rising adoption of faster FTTC, FTTP and Cable lines.
