vISP - Virtual Internet Service Provider
Date Posted: 4 January, 2010 | Views: 639 | Article ID: 114

A Virtual ISP (vISP) is an Internet access provider that promotes services under its own brand, yet underneath this it will be using the equipment and facilities of another ISP to provide the services. Such ISPs do not usually own or run their own independent networks/backbones and rarely have much control over their package specifications and prices.
