UPDATE: The service status page indicates that the problems, which were caused by an error during routine maintenance, should now have been resolved.Customers of
Virgin Media's cable based broadband services were hit by a sporadic outage last night, although its not known precisely how many have been impacted yet the issue appears to be a national one.
Unfortunately the operators service status page reports that, for some people at least, the problems are still on-going as per this mornings update:
18/12/2007 07:57Our engineers are currently working to restore service. Further updates will be posted when available.
Virgin Media apologise for any inconvenience caused.
