WiMax broadband wireless ISP FREEDOM4 (formerly Pipex) has joined forces with European Wi-Fi roaming group BOZII. The move will extend its coverage and provide wireless Internet access across the UK and globally:

Graham Currier, Business Development Director at FREEDOM4 comments, "In today’s climate of mobile working, online shopping, and internet browsing, our service offers low cost access to a large number of hotspots in the UK and internationally. We view Wi-Fi as a complimentary technology to WiMAX and partnering with BOZII means we can significantly increase our wireless services footprint."

The easy-to-use service enables users to quickly locate access points in a number of ways including: text message, GPS devices, online and offline through the client software. With a one-bill solution for all usage, FREEDOM4’s complete Wi-Fi offering provides a simple solution for all mobile users.

FREEDOM4 now provides access to over 30,000 hotspots in 88 countries. With both pay-as-you-go and subscription packages available.
