Swedish & UK Railway Wi-Fi Provider Tops 1m Users

Icomera, which delivers on-train Wi-Fi (wireless) Internet access to train operators (GNER) in the UK and Sweden, has reported subscribing one million customers with 23,000 new users being added each week.

The operator currently has its kit installed in 130 trains and is expecting a surge in signups when GNER's UK licence passes to National Express in the near future (news). National Express has promised commuters a FREE Wi-Fi service.
