The Carphone Warehouse has today announced plans to acquire Onetel and Tele2 in a move to take on the dominance of BT.
The deal worth £150m will give the Talk Talk service's 2.4m customers the ability to call each other for free.
Once the deals are completed Onetel and Tele2 will be rebranded to the Carphone Warehouse's TalkTalk phone service. The takeover will give its 2.4m voice customers the ability to call one another for free.
