We finally managed to get some level of response out of 'Your Communications', which is BlueLeaf Internet's broadband supplier. Unfortunately they didn't say anything too specific, but have offered some advice for BlueLeaf's ex-customers:
----
The current information that we have regarding BlueLeaf is that their customer base is being offered to a number of other resellers. This will not affect the service provided.
If you, as the end user, wish to port your broadband away to the operator of your choice we can provide a MAC code for you to do so, however, we are unable to do [THIS] until the change regarding the supplier has been made.
In the meantime, you should see no problems with your ADSL products, although if you do experience any faults please contact us directly on 0800 195 5222 to report issues, rather than reporting it to BlueLeaf to log on your behalf as has happened in the past.
----
The second paragraph is a bit confusing, although overall the wording lends credit to reports of BlueLeaf's general demise as an ISP; though we still do not know how it came to pass.
Customers have made Ofcom aware of the situation, although typically that will be of little use to anybody in the short term. Once again users are forced to suffer at the hands of an incompetent ISP that failed to communicate.
