We don't tend to cover e-mail clients, but Mozilla's wonderful free (open source) Thunderbird software has earnt a special place in my life. Hence the release of their new v2 client is big news and can be downloaded here:


The new version brings with it the usual mix of security improvements and bug fixes, but also a whole bunch of new features from better folder organisation to an improved search and message templates etc.
