During last weeks
ISPA Awards announcement we reported on rumours from a reliable source (
here) that Biscit had been asked to step down from the
ISPA. Today a further source has confirmed their removal, while the
ISPA's website itself no longer lists Biscit among its
members.
Precise details of what transpired are not known and it's unclear whether they've managed to find themselves a replacement ADR (dispute/complaint resolution scheme), potentially putting themselves in breach of Ofcoms rules and liable to a fine. Biscit was also bizarrely missed off one of last weeks
ISPA Award shortlists, which they had previously been included on.
Its interesting to note that this has taken place after the
ISPA Awards, perhaps saving some level of embarrassment.
