ISP Tiscali UK has introduced a new broadband video-on-demand (VoD) system to complement its existing TV product. The new service -
Movies Now - offers customers the ability to download over 500 films or programmes from as little as 99p each:
Download rentals have a seven-day window for viewing once the download is completed. Once playback is started, you can watch the film or programme as many times as you like, within a 24 or 48 hour playback window.
Prices start from 99p, with the latest blockbuster films in the catalogue available for rent at high quality for £2.99 or at super high quality for £3.49.
