The UK Internet Service Providers Association (
ISPA) has finally woken up and begun contacting
Bulldog following a spike in complaints. Today's industry meeting is likely to escalate its importance to an even higher level:
A spokesman for ISPA told The Register : "We have noticed a large increase in the number of complaints about Bulldog. We were in touch a couple of weeks ago and we will be in touch again."
He declined to reveal the exact nature of the customer complaints but said they involved "customer service issues".The news will not come as a shock to our readers, regulars of which are only too aware of
Bulldog's past and present customer support issues. Its not yet known what the
ISPA plans to do in response, although wed suspect some diluted words of warning to be spoken.
Whether or not this will be enough to sort out Bulldogs problems is another matter, theyve already caused weeks of on-going havoc for many subscribers.
