The Telecommunications Adjudicator (OTA), Peter Black, has released his latest monthly (August'07) report on the status of UK local loop unbundling (LLU) - HERE. Some 2.997 million telephone lines have now been unbundled from BT, which compares with 2.725m during July.

The process of local loop unbundling continues at a good pace and is now believed to have passed the 3 million mark, spurred on by the growth in cheap broadband services and voice line bundles.
