UPDATE: It's taking a little longer than expected to setup the new server and may over-run into Monday. No major problems though.

We’ll be upgrading the server this weekend and effectively shifting everything onto something new, which will probably take a couple of days. Due to this our ‘Discussion Forum’ and ‘Reader Reviews system’ will need to be taken offline until after the move is complete, thus preserving data integrity.

During the move ISPreview itself will be in a mirrored state between servers, thus limiting the amount of downtime by any off-lined systems. Chances are there will be some problems and minor disruption but we’re crossing our fingers for everything to go smoothly and there’s certainly a lot of work involved.

Hopefully the next news update will be reporting from the new server.
