Check Point has finally released v7.1 of its popular third party Firewall security software, ZoneAlarm. The major change is that v7.1 can now be classified as a Vista-ready product.

Vista being Microsoft's somewhat bloated new operating system (OS), which has caused a lot of compatibility problems with some software. Though it may be far from perfect, ZoneAlarm offers a free variant that's generally better than Vista's own Firewall.

The Vista compliant version had previously been available as a beta and is downloadable here: http://www.zonealarm.com .
