UK ISP
Supanet appears to have revamped its broadband packages once again with the cheapest claiming to offer an "
unlimited bandwidth" up to 8Mbps connection, free optimised Tpad
VoIP service (free weekend and evening calls) and free ADSL modem all for just £7.99 per month.
The highlighted '
Silver' service is only available to customers that migrate to Supanet from another ISP, with the standard pricing still being worryingly cheap at £11.99 per month:
Silver - £11.99(£7.99 when migrating inwards)
Free weekend and evening calls
Up to 8 Mb broadband
Modem and connection included
Unlimited bandwidth
Free anti-virus trial
Free optimised Tpad
VoIP service
Just Broadband - £13.99(£9.99 when migrating inwards)

VoIP service
Gold - £14.99(£10.99 when migrating inwards)
Free calls anytime

Free anti-virus trial
Free optimised Tpad
VoIP service
Typically an "
unlimited bandwidth" package claiming a price point of £7.99 per month is at the wholesale line rental level, making it difficult to understand how Supanet could sustain such a price point without serious service or support problems developing.
Previously such packages had all been subject to a 10GB monthly usage cap, costing £2 for each additional 1GB block consumed. Though that may no longer exist it is still a good guide to be using, yet even 10GB is impressive at this level. The packages are also subject to a 12 month contract.
