UK Broadband Boosts Online Shopping

The latest study from retail analysts Verdict Research claims that cheaper and faster broadband has been one of the key driving forces behind a growth in online shopping

Consumers spent nearly £11bn with online shopping last year, which is expected to hit £28.1bn in 2011; roughly £1,056 per person.

However such increases are unlikely to come without sacrifice and we fear for the future security of small village towns and high-street stores.
