UK ISP NewNet has made it free for customers to join its broadband ADSL service when migrating from another provider. However that isn’t the only price promotion:
For brand new customers not migrating from another ISP, NewNet special offer £10 off connection price will be extended until 31 July 2007. From 1 August 2007 the price for new connections will revert back to £39.95, and reconnections to £29.95.
BT supplied up to 8Mb service prepaid additional bandwidth will now be charged at £1.10 inc VAT. (Price increase is required to turn around some loss making services.)
Prices on NewNet's own ADSL2+ 24Meg service prepaid additional bandwidth will remain unchanged at 70p per 1GB.
