Young UK Adults Hooked On The Internet

New research from MTV and Microsoft has revealed that 80% of 16-24 year olds log onto the Internet each day, spending roughly 34 hours online per week. Meanwhile most also claim that they can no longer live without their computers.

However the study demonstrated that young adult’s interest in the Internet is mostly functional. Just 20% of those questioned admitted to loving technology, with most merely enjoying the role it played in their lifestyle (helping communication with friends and entertained etc.).
