UK Online has launched a new promotion offering a free Wireless Ethernet Router for all new customers signing up to its Broadband 8000 (8Mbps ADSL) service:
Customers who sign up for UK Online Broadband 8000 before 21st February 2005 will receive the router (including WiFi as standard) free - a saving of £69.99. The Wireless Ethernet Router enables users to connect up to ten PCs, laptops and game consoles anywhere within the home.
Chris Stening, General Manager, UK Online, commented, "We want to enable consumers to experience the benefits of Broadband 8000, anywhere in their home, with the freedom that WiFi provides. The 8Mb service is already proving extremely popular, and with this offer, we're confident that even more customers will be tempted to try the UK's fastest home Internet connection for themselves."
UK Online - which yesterday was announced as a finalist for four ISPA Awards, including Best National Consumer ISP - launched its Broadband 8000 service in November 2004, to more than 4.4million UK households, using parent company Easynet's unbundled exchange network. Priced at £39.99 per month, with a £50 connection charge, the high-speed 8Mb service is revolutionising the UK home broadband market.
