Own an Apple MAC computer? Tired of waiting for the BBC to complete development of a downloadable version of its IPTV iPlayer service for your system? Well wait no more, thinkbroadband has spotted an unofficial client on MacUpdate that should do the job:

However, be aware that this software merely downloads the MP4 video files from the BBC's web-based player and NOT its higher quality P2P client. We suspect that the BBC won't be too pleased with this development as it could theoretically circumvent the time limits they impose upon viewing.
