The latest March 2008 online UK broadband video usage statistics from comScore has revealed that YouTube continues to be the dominant platform with a 48% market share (1.68bn viewed video clips out of 3.5bn total). Over 27m UK Internet users watched an average of 128 online video clips per viewer during March.
By comparison the BBC's websites and iPlayer service managed just 1.2% (42.4m viewed clips). MySpace's parent company, Fox Interactive Media, came third in the list with a 0.9% share. Microsoft followed them in fourth with 0.7% and Yahoo on fifth with 0.6%.
