The latest YouGov survey of 1,030 adults in Scotland has revealed that 84% of people with an Internet connection would like high speed downloads. Scots also want access to more online services, with virtual learning tools (71%) being the most popular demand, followed by video calls (63%) and remote healthcare (61%).
It's likely that Scots would use faster next generation broadband services to watch TV and films on demand, with 87% expressing an interest in the services. Sadly while some people can receive faster speeds under existing technologies, many still live too far from their exchange to gain the best performance.
