Wireless ISP
CountyBroadband has reportedly expanded its broadband coverage to yet another village in the Suffolk and North Essex area, Long Melford. The service, which should go live by the start of next month, will offer speeds of 'up to' 8Mbps:
Director Lloyd Felton told
Suffolk Free Press: "
There has been a plateau in service delivery between 400k and 1Mb and the general public believe they are getting broadband, when in actual fact, many of the up-and-coming applications will need speeds far in excess of this if they are to be properly experienced."
The packages cost £99 to install with monthly prices starting from just £10.99 for a symmetrical 1Mbps option and rising to £74.99 per month for 15Mbps. Credits to
