The University of Birmingham has chosen Yorkshire based ISP Ask4 to provide Internet services to over 4000 students living in halls of residence. The company’s package includes a 2Mbps Internet service with an upgrade capacity of 10Mbps, instant broadband and no download limits:

Geoff Pringle, Director of Hospitality and Accommodation Services at the University of Birmingham, said: “ask4’s internet packages and services provide the best match for the requirements of both the University and our students.

The introduction of ask4’s services at the University has gone extremely well and we have been delighted with their delivery of the technology they have implemented.

It is important for us to be able to offer the best of everything to students living in our halls of residence and we are confident that with ask4 as our chosen supplier we are providing more than 4,000 students with the best internet service possible.

The news follows an almost identical announcement by the same ISP for Leicester's De Montfort University earlier in the week.
