Virgin Media has always maintained that its forthcoming next generation 'up to' 50Mbps cable broadband service would surface before the end of 2008. Now a new report on TechRadar has hinted that 15th December could mark its arrival.

Presently Virgin Media has chosen not to comment on the speculation, although mid-December is probably as good of a guess as any. This report chimes with other bits and pieces of information we've heard, although until VM confirms something it shall remain open to change.
