Virgin Media has now confirmed an earlier rumour that its new 'up to' 50Mbps (DOCSIS 3.0) broadband cable modem service would be launched on 15th December 2008. Details remain thin on the ground, although information from earlier trials has hinted at a price point of around £50 per month.
