Project Kangaroo (SeeSaw), the joint BBC, ITV and Channel 4 broadband Internet TV (IPTV) / Video-on-Demand (VOD) service, will enter alpha testing next month and launch a public beta trial sometime during January 2009.

This is despite the on-going and well documented Competition Commission (CC) investigation (news), which has been causing the project more than a few headaches recently. The commission itself will rule at the end of November.
