Tiscali UK has released its latest quarterly results to 30th September 2008, which shows yet another decline in ADSL based broadband subscribers to 1,774,000. This is significantly down by -64,000 on the second quarters 1,838,000 and first quarters 1,875,000.
The providers problems are likely to play into the hands of
Sky Broadband, which is currently in the process of trying to buy
Tiscali and has just gone above them in our '
Top 10 ISPs by Subscriber Size' list.
It's noted that 889,000 of
Tiscali's broadband users are on its unbundled (
LLU) platform, with approximately 887,000 customers who subscribe to dual play services.
