The Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has teamed up with network operator Arqiva to enable 15 Glasgow Subway stations with wireless Internet access and mobile phone coverage. The system will use a mix of Wi-Fi, 2G and 3G mobile technologies to deliver the service.
