Online UK Sales Boom Escapes Economic Slowdown

The latest study from Capgemini has revealed a significant increase in online sales over the festive period (1st Oct'07 to 31st Dec'07), rising from £9.61bn in 2006 to £15.2bn in 2007. To put it another way, for every £1 spent on goods an estimated 15p was spent online, which compares with 10p last year.
