Little known business ISP and voice provider,
Least Cost Telecom (LCT), has announced the forthcoming introduction of its new 20:1 contended 'up to' 24Mbps broadband packages. The service, which promises no lengthy contracts and is based off ADSL2+ technology, will go live during early April 2008.
Prices are expected to start at £30 per month for a package with 1.3Mbps upload speeds and £40 for 2.5Mbps uploads. It is not clear whether LCT plans to use an unbundled (
LLU) network, although the launch date is very close to BTs introduction of ADSL2+ technology, potentially making LCT the first to announce pricing.
