FireFly has upgraded its Usenet (newsgroups) system to offer 30 days of article retention in all binary newsgroups:
We are pleased to announce a new standard in newsgroup retention. We will now offer 30 days of article retention in all binary newsgroups. This represents over 30TB of news article storage!
Together with our partners, Giganews, we have completed development and testing of a complete upgrade to our Usenet server software as well as major upgrades to the physical server clusters. The changes have now been implemented on all of our Usenet servers, bringing you this higher level of retention.
As a result, some of the more popular binary groups will contain as many as 5 million headers.http://www.fireflyuk.net
